A & E Television aired another Playboy special called “Inside the Playboy Mansion” on November 23, 2005. “Inside the Playboy Mansion” was one of the most explicit programs we have ever recorded on an advertiser supported television network. This program contained numerous uncensored nude pictures taken from the pages of Playboy magazine and uncensored movie clips taken from Playboy videos.
A&E Television is an unrestricted, advertiser supported network. Therefore, children, the parents of children and many adults who would not want to be exposed to such pornographic programming may be subjected to it when roaming the free unrestricted channels provided by their cable company. Internationally, A&E's channels reach about 230 million subscribers in 130 countries.
A&E is a joint venture of Disney (37.5%), the Hearst Corporation (37.5%), and NBC Universal Cable (25%). NBC Universal is a subsidiary of GE.
