When you get a chance, be sure to check out a quaint little town called Truth or Consequences in New Mexico. It is between El Paso and Albuquerque. It got its name from the tv show called "Truth or Consequences" when the promoter promised "big fortune" for any city who would change its name to the name of the televised game show .
